1.3        IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING TO STUDENT

           The training is an opportunity for polytechnic students to equip themselves before the real working environment and the future and the challenges that will follow. In addition, students also have the opportunity to gain experience that cannot be in college.

Exercise is very important to the industry because the industry training Polytechnic students can provide a great opportunity for students to know better and to expose themselves in a real working environment. Students can also explore the field of endeavor with the new sciences, art. In addition, students will also be a useful experience to be ready to receive any instructions, advice or criticism from superiors. Between the interests of industry training to students are: -

·         Will be able to work as a teamwork and built a good relationship.

·         Expose trainee to the various aspects of industrial practices and ethics.


·      Students are not only exposed to the working environment but also can practice all the theoretical and practical study at polytechnic. While at the polytechnic, students are exposed to general and practical but with industrial-training students also can expose students to the real working environment atmosphere

  • Make students not to be afraid to face any mistakes while doing the work. This is because if students have made a mistake, will learn from these mistakes and will not repeat them in future.

  • Mature students who will be called as an employee. Industrial training as early exposure to the students to be more mature. It made a profound impact in fostering teamwork and educate students who will keep track of the working environment to respect each other especially the more senior employee or officer of high rank.

During the industrial training students will also be asked to work. Therefore, it is important for students to be able to adopt a positive attitude in order to be able to hear the correct direction. Efficiency of a student to receive, interpret and execute the command will determine the quality of work produced.

In addition, the importance of this industry training can allow students to practice a sense of responsibility and respect among employees as well as the attitude of trust in the conduct of the work done when executing the assigned tasks.
