AND SUGGESTION
5.1 INTRODUCTION
Perwira Progresive
Construction Sdn Bhd is a company that is famous in Sabah state and one of the
top companies. This company is highly anticipated and trusted that has been
given by the client towards the service that has been given by the employees. This
makes the company become viable and the
best.
5.2 ORGANIZATION’S FINDINGS
I’ve learned and experienced many
things from the employees, and this company since I started my industrial
training at Perwira Progresive Construction Sdn Bhd. Among the things that I’ve
learned is the processing of buying a Tender Document. There are 6 stages for
the process of buying a Tender Document and then submitting the Tender
Document. Other than that, I’ve experienced and learned about how to complete
and pricing the Bill of Quantities for the project of each item. This is the
important part for Quantity Surveyors to make the pricing for the Tender
Document.
Other
than that, I also experienced and learned by going to a Site Visit with Senior
QS. I have learned many things about how the progress of the work done and how
to make an evaluation. Other than that, I also know how to make a valuation of
the work by calculating the length of the drainage using the right equipment
that has been taught by Senior QS.
Next,
I also managed to do the stage 3 for buying the Tender Document by making a
Site Visit with the Client. It is to show that the Director has made a Site
Visit with the Client, and then the Client will give the Site Visit Form to the
Director so that the Director can proceed to Stage 4 which is to buy the Tender
Document.
Lastly,
I was able to work with real-time experienced from this company by making an
industrial training that had been provided by Polytechnic Kota Kinabalu. I can
feel the environment of working in real-time so that I will be comfortable next
time when I apply to work from a company because I’ve experienced the way how
the company and employees do their works.
