CHAPTER 6 CONCLUSION             Polytechnic has done a brilliant idea of getting the students to do industrial training and finding a place for the student to go through industrial training. I’m sure that many of us are not aware of the organization or a company that has been making progress is starting from a systematic, stable and perfect to be a successful organization or a company.             Therefore, industrial training has many advantages rather than disadvantages. This industrial training program must be continued because this can give the students a lot of knowledge and skills. It also can make the students understand how does real-time working to give the students experience of working in the firm’s organization or a company.             With this industrial training, it can give confidence to the students to go through real-time working that is challenging and smart to use this kind of opportunity like this. COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS

5.3        ORGANIZATION’S COMMENT             Overall, there is not much to say about this company. This is because even if the company has some disadvantages, but the company is able to overcome problems with the efficiency and skill set from employees in each of their jobs. But for the long-term, these issues need to be addressed in order for the company to remain competitive and to be the best for Sabah state. Among the problems that need to be solved is: i.            Labor Shortages                          Labor shortages are one of the biggest factors because if the employees are not enough, the organization will not go far. Every client needs to be treated nicely and good service especially the employee in the ‘front office’ and general employees. If there are not enough employees, then they won’t be able to give the best service to the client. CHAPTER 5 FINDINGS AND SUGGESTION 5.1        INTRODUCTION             Perwira Progresive Construction Sdn Bhd is a company that is famous in Sabah state and one of the top companies. This company is highly anticipated and trusted that has been given by the client towards the service that has been given by the employees. This makes the   company become viable and the best. 5.2        ORGANIZATION’S FINDINGS             I’ve learned and experienced many things from the employees, and this company since I started my industrial training at Perwira Progresive Construction Sdn Bhd. Among the things that I’ve learned is the processing of buying a Tender Document. There are 6 stages for the process of buying a Tender Document and then submitting the Tender Document. Other than that, I’ve experienced and learned about how to complete and pricing the Bill of Quantities for the project of each item. CHAPTER 4 TECHNICAL REPORT 4.1.1        INTRODUCTION                A tender is a submission made by a prospective supplier in response to an invitation to tender. It makes an offer for the supply of goods or services, including a price and proposals for how the requirements will be satisfied if these have been requested.    An invitation to tender provides prospective suppliers with tender documentation setting out the information they need to prepare their offer. It is vital that tender documents are comprehensive and clear if realistic prices are to be obtained, making it more likely that the project will adhere to the budget once the works begin, and reducing the likelihood of misunderstandings, mistakes and claims.           Tender documents might include: ·          A letter of invitation to tender. ·          The form of tender (formal acknowledgement that the supplier understands and accepts the terms of conditions of the tender documents). ·

CHAPTER 3 SUMMARY OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING 3.1        INTRODUCTION             The summary for this chapter will explain the formulation works that the student did throughout undergoing the industrial training in certain organizations either in government or private sector. This summary is made from week one to week twenty. There are plenty of knowledge and work skills that I get when working at this industrial training from an organization.             Among the work that I did in dealing with the senior and junior of quantity surveyors to do the works for the office and others. I will share this summary for every experience that I have learned and gained knowledge. This is one of the summaries of activity that I can explain and what I learn throughout this industrial training at Perwira Progresive Construction Sdn Bhd.      

WEEKLY SUMMARY OF DAILY REPORT

3.3        WEEKLY SUMMARY OF DAILY REPORT              Throughout the industrial training for trainee in this sector, the trainee has been working under the sector of civil engineering where the management sector does not provide a work schedule for the student. However, the trainee has been given the trust and confidence to create and help the Senior Quantity Surveyor, Engineer, Civil Engineer and Architect. Trainee also has been given explanation in the form of discussion and questions for each other and opportunity to learn more about Construction Company.             As a whole, it can be briefly described in the fields and tasks performed during the industrial training period for 4 months and a half at Perwira Progresive Construction Sdn Bhd where all the employees performing tasks related to construction works.
